HAS MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.'S DREAM COME TRUE?

Who can forget Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech. A question to argue is if he were still alive today, would he feel that his dream has come true. I think that he would be extremely pleased with the progress that has been made in exterminating racism, but we are not completely clear of that horrible hatred that was so popular some forty years ago. There is without a doubt still racism in America, because it was not so long ago that there was complete segregation. people from that era are still alive, and passing that same hate and distaste for people of different color to their children. Wow when you see it on paper it really does look ridiculous, I mean come on! Hating someone because they are a different skin type! so stupid. But because of these people that just wont give up on " the old days" there is going to be some racism for a long time. so no i don't think that his dream has come true, its close but not quite there.

I think your true but I also think that racism is no longer unfair but is more mutual. What i mean by that is that there are still some white people that dislike black people, but there are probably an equal number of black people who dislike whites. My view is there is still racism but it is equal, which I think is better but definetly still not good.
